Bender Wells Clark Design was founded in 1989. Bender Wells Clark Design provides professional, award-winning work in the areas of Urban Design, Planning, Landscape Architecture and Environmental Graphic Design.

The firm's planning and design services range from long-range, mixed-use planning projects that involve thousands of acres, many jurisdictions, and many interest groups to site-specific studies of urban areas. Services include: Scenic corridor/open space planning, Streetscape design, Community/neighborhood development, Sign systems and Wayfinding programs

Beth Bender Wells is a graduate of Trinity University in San Antonio and the University of Texas at San Antonio, with a Master's Degree in Environmental Management and Urban Studies. Her Planning and Urban Design experience includes such notable San Antonio projects as: Metropolitan Transportation Plan Update; Transportation and Land Use Project; Mission Trails Planning Study; San Antonio-Bexar County High-Occupancy Vehicle Study Long Range Plan; Integration of Public Transportation and Bicycle Services Study; San Antonio Downtown Transportation Study; South Texas Medical Center Suburban Mobility
